WEDDING DAY OF COORDINATOR vs. WEDDING PLANNER
As a rule of thumb, you should hire a wedding planner if you need assistance in planning your entire wedding and your budget allows it. A Wedding Day of Coordinator does what the bride, mother of the bride or sister should not be troubling herself with, on one of her most joyous days of her life. After months of planning, a bride needs a coordinator to handle the final details and Itinerary. A month before or at the very least a week prior to the wedding the bride gives Marlene all the contact information of the vendors. Above all, the timeline will be reviewed and adjusted as necessary before the day of the festivities. On the wedding day itself, Marlene makes sure the bridal party is lined up for the procession and guides the guest after the ceremony. Payments to the vendors may be directed through her if the bride and groom desire it to be handled in that manner. Everything on the timeline will be guided by Marlene in a similar manner that a conductor leads his orchestra. A conductor, like a coordinator, is the ultimate communicator, the person charged with bringing the best out of everyone involved to make the most compelling music/wedding.
